This Easter, we tumbled down the rabbit hole and into an unforgettable week of dancing, singing, creating and performing at our Alice in WonderlandĀ themed holiday camp!
Although this camp was smaller than usualāwith just nine brilliant children joining us throughout the weekāit turned out to be one of the most special camps we've ever had. In fact, one child even said they preferredĀ the quieter group, and we couldn't agree more. It allowed for a calmer, more connected experience where every child had the chance to shineāand wow, did they ever!
š A Week of Creativity and Confidence

From the moment our campers arrived, their enthusiasm and creativity filled the studio. We explored a magical mix of ballet, jazz, and even some contemporary dance and cartwheels, and worked on building strong performance skills in both drama and singing. The children tackled "All in the Golden Afternoon"Ā with incredible focus and musicality, impressively managing pitch-matching and breath control across the group.
Our arts and craftsĀ sessions were just as vibrant and imaginativeāmasks for the White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat, glittering Wonderland-themed ballet shoes, hand-crafted teacups and saucers, giant playing cards, and classic Mad Hatter hats. The highlight? A giant cardboard Cheshire Cat puppet, made by the group and brought to life during the performance using teamwork and creativity. It was a joy to watch them piece it together and move as one mysterious feline across the stage.

š A Show to Remember
On Friday, our campers performed a magical 20-minute show featuring nine original scenes and routines, each inspired by a different moment or character from Wonderland. From the playful tea party to the floating āfallā down the rabbit hole, every number was packed with storytelling and heart. There wasnāt a single hiccupājust big smiles, confident performances, and very proud grown-ups.
The children absolutely loved their costumesāfrom sparkly caterpillars to regal Queens of Hearts. One very special moment was when one of our students performed in a beautiful vintage costume that was made by Miss Amyās mum over 25 years agoāand worn by Miss Amy herself as a child! It was a lovely reminder of how these magical memories live on across generations.
Our youngest performer, Stella (just four years old!), amazed us all with her bravery and commitment, joining in with everything the older children did. Meanwhile, our eldest camper, Kali, took on a gentle leadership role, becoming a ābig sisterā figure to the little onesāsomething truly heartwarming to witness.
š A Week of Warmth and Wonder
We received glowing feedback from parents at the end of the week, including some lovely video testimonials (watch this spaceātheyāll be appearing on our socials soon!). One camper even gave us a beautiful, heartfelt hand-written thank-you card.
There were so many cuddles, so much kindness, andāunusually for a holiday campāno sign of the "Wednesday Wackies"!Ā The children stayed engaged, cheerful, and focused all week long.
Watching the final video back, we were honestly blown away by what they achieved. Itās one of those weeks that reminds us why we do what we do.
š« To everyone who joined us for the Alice in Wonderland Camp: thank you for the magic. We canāt wait to welcome you back for our next adventure this summer!
